Get cold feet?

For more than a year and a half, it was possible to find information on the website of a large engine manufacturer about the danger from calcium chromates when dismantling insulating elements.

Important information on occupational safety and environmental protection was also provided there.

And now?

Everything has been removed, the problem has been "deleted", so to speak.

Inquiries about the deletion are met with a very tight-lipped response, if at all!

Perhaps also because the difference between "chromium VI" (hexavalent chromium) and "chromates" (hexavalent chromium compounds; here: Calcium chromate (CaCrO4)) is understood so slowly and a connection to the calcium sources (calcium-containing insulating materials) is quite obvious?

As they say in journalism?

The publisher has not yet been available for comment.

We conclude journalistically:

A denial sounds different!
